| Spring Lakes North and South | Muskie/Bass | A+ | loaded with 30-40" muskies, many 5 to 7 lb bass | Fish Winter or very early Spring. Filled with unfishable weeds by mid-Spring until Winter. |
| Shabbona Lake State Park | Muskie/Bass | A+ | loaded with huge fish | Fish all year, avoid weekends/holidays. The morning bite is usually better than the evening bite. |
| Lake Sangchris | Bass | A+ | loaded with huge fish | Fish Winter, early Spring, and late Fall. Covered with acres of unfishable lilypads by mid-Spring. |
| Lake Kinkaid | Muskie | A+ | loaded with huge fish | Fish Winter or very early Spring, and late Fall. The water is too hot for Muskies in summer. |
