Muskie Zone 2

Back corner of the No Motor Zone.

This corner has deep trees, a weedbed, and a creek channel all converging into a shallow water bottleneck. Some of my first muskies (small muskies caught in a rental boat) were found here. I've lost my share of Nice Fish in the wood/stumps, and this is the spot where a well known Shabbona native boated 7 muskies in One Day !!! (not me of course) Spring, Summer and Fall muskies use this area as a feeding station.
