Hello, my name is Nate Lambrecht. I grew up and live in DeKalb, Illinois. I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois, with a degree in Fish and Wildlife Biology. I have been fishing ever since I was old enough to hold a rod and reel. I have been fishing at Shabbona Lake since I was about 8 years old. Mostly fishing for bluegill, bass and walleye back then, but quickly developing a taste for a harder fighting, and harder to catch fish. I have fished a lot of places in my life, ranging from king salmon in the Kenai River, to redfish, snook and tarpon along the east coast of Florida. But I have yet to find something that can match (although tarpon and snook are pretty darn close) my true passion, which is musky fishing. I have fished specifically for muskies since I was a sophomore in high school, 10 years later I find the same thrill in every follow and every strike, as I did in my very first. I enjoy introducing people to new techniques, and ideas, that will help put more fish in the boat, regardless of what body of water you are fishing. While I can not guarantee a boated musky every time out I can guarantee that I will put forth my best effort to get you on fish, and that you will walk away with the knowledge I have gained to help get you out being a successful musky fisherman.
